Jessica always does just as I ask and I know I don't have to worry I'll come out with the half the hair I went in with. Highly recommend.
This time I was disappointed. I'm not very good at explaining what I want but I took a picture and my hair looks nothing like it. I was in there a long time and she did her best. Sadly I won't be going back which is a shame as Jessica is very nice and chatty but I just can't seem to get what I want.
Been here a few times and always been very happy with the service and the quality of the manicure, however on this occasion I was slightly disappointed. It seemed that the salon was overbooked on the day I went (I waited about 20 minutes or so for my appointment, and there were a number of others who came in for hair appointments etc who also seemed to be waiting a long time). I got the impression that the manicurist (who it seems is also a hair dresser as she was styling someone's hair when I arrived) was in a rush and didn't really take enough care of making sure that the polish was evenly applied. I had a couple of small air bubbles and the edges were quite rough. The staff were as always very friendly and the salon spotlessly clean, but I didn't feel like on this occasion they were up to their usual high standards, unfortunately. I will still go again as am hoping this was a rare miss.
Overall very happy with the result! very small salon that is lacking a bit of ambiance but i am still getting the cut I want so won't complain :P
Carmen (senior stylist) was really welcoming and did a great job with my hair, the cut was great and she took time to style it nicely at the end (which I really appreciated!). Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
