I booked the day before to have reflexology at Daks Sheena Beauty. On arrival the lady was nice but did not give the impression that she would be the masseuse but the receptionist. When I entered the room I was asked to take everything off except under wear. I explained I only wanted a foot massage and I was told the foot massage would last 20 mins and the rest of the time would be a full body massage. This was not what I expected.
I didn't get reflexology it was more lots of movement to warm up my feet. The full body massage was better but it really wasn't what I wanted.
I would say Daks should just advertise for a full body massage which includes a foot massage. The lady was nice and the full body massage was ok but false advertising as no reflexology.
I booked a basic manicure 45 min but the beautician said that it did not include the cuticules removal... for me that's basic of a manicure!! She said I need to pay extra for the spa manicure. Had to pay £5 extra for just have my nails in a bowl of water for her to remove my cuticules and she barely removed them, she kept pulling the skin instead of cutting the cuticules properly,I had to ask her to remove them better it wasn't a good job I'm afraid, not enjoyable moment and I do it better myself to be honest. I wouldn't recommend it. The whole thing still lasted 45 min as the basic manicure says not 1 hour. Plus the place isn't really clean.
I had a full body massage that should have lasted 1h 15 minutes but was only an hour long, however, I really enjoyed the treatment and presence of the therapist. I came with headache and sore neck and after leaving - I was very well and was feeling such a relieve. I unfortunately don't remember the name but I'll be coming back. I recommend.
