Danielle was amazing. Really friendly, very professional, and incredibly skilled. She listened to where the issues were, explained everything she did and worked miracles on my shoulders! I'm definitely going to be booking again.

About

Dakota Therapies at Portland House
Cambrian Buildings
Mount Stuart Square
West Bute Street
Cardiff
CF10 5FL

Danielle first experienced massage in 2004 after she was hit by a car while on her bike. She suffered from whiplash from the impact of the fall. She received a massage every week for the first month then twice a month after for 8 months. Massage helped ease the pain and stress caused by this event and helped with the remodelling of scar tissue from the whiplash. Danielle strongly believes her mobility in her neck and shoulders would have been worse off today if she had not received massage therapy after her accident. Danielle realised massage therapy helped her on so many levels emotionally and physically; she loved the feeling massage gave her and she loved it so much she wanted to learn to do this. Danielle began to pursue her dream of becoming a massage therapist in 2009 in the United States attending East West College of Healing Arts in Portland Oregon. She studied Swedish massage and kinesiology. In 2011 She moved to the United Kingdom, settling in Cardiff. Danielle has since studied at Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. She graduated in 2012 with a level 4 diploma in Holistic Massage from the Massage Training Institute. The diploma is one of the best you can get in the UK. Danielle started her business in Cardiff in 2012. She varies the kind of work she does, from corporate massage to private clients and festival work. She has started the Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage course at Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork and will be finished with the course summer of 2018.

The team:

Danielle specialises in injury recovery. The massage treatments cater to each individual client’s needs. Danielle also integrates many advanced massage techniques into her work such as muscle energy technique, soft tissue release, positional release and neuro-muscular technique.
