First time using the app. Booked before hand same day. Staff had no record of my booking (showed them the confirmation emails etc) but could not accommodate as all staff were busy and wanted to leave to go home. Would not trust TW booking again, best book direct with the venue.
Decent first visit, I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment but was swiftly sat down and offered a drink (unfortunately I decilined because I was unaware that they were complimentary, that and it it was 11am so probably a bit too early for a G&T).
Then the barber got to work on my hair, at which point another gentlemen walked in and was greated etc as I was. A few minutes later the baber realised that I wasn't his client, the other gentleman was. It was at this point that I felt the barber became slightly panicked and started to rush my appointment, it then became unaware as to whether I was to swap to colleague or stay put. I think the issue was that we had booked similar treatments at the same time both through treatwell, I got the impression that most of their clients don't book online so staff aren't as confident with this method. Eventually the two staff on shift sorted the issue, apologised and tensions faded.
I had opted to pay at the venue rather than online which also caused some confusion. I was told that the type of cut I recieved costs more than what I was quoted on the website, however, she said that as it was my first visit she was happy to process the original price that was quoted and apply the treatwell discount, I was also given a loyalty card.
Furthermore, the treatment I had booked included a hairwash which never happened... perhaps the barber thought this was unnecessary? I'm not too bothered about that though.
Yeah, all in all it was a good experience. The haircut it's self was done really well. The staff are polite and obviously enjoy their job, just wish I had that drink...
