Had a wonderful haircut with Jonny - the atmosphere of the salon is so relaxing, was offered a glass of wine on arrival! He did a really great consultation, and understood my hair within minutes. He did a cutting technique that no one has ever done for me and its left my hair feeling incredible and exactly how I've always wished it would look - amazing! The blow dry left me feeling great and the various products were beautiful, natural formulas. Will definitely be going back!

Welcome to Day One, a brand-new hair salon in the heart of East Dulwich. Nestled in Grove Vale, we cut, colour and style using sustainable products.

Nearest public transport:

You'll find us on Grove Vale in East Dulwich between East Dulwich Train station and the bottom of Lordship Lane.

In addition to the regular services to East Dulwich train station, it's just a short walk to Peckham Rye train station.

Regular 40, 42, 176,185, 484, P13 buses stop at the bus stop right outside.

Parking on Grove Vale and many of the surrounding streets is restricted or 'pay by phone'. You can park for up to 2 hours in the Sainsbury's carpark - a short walk away.

In addition, you can park or Quorn Road, Copleston Road, or many of the streets of Bellenden Village - please check local parking signs for time restrictions.
