My nails were filed down so much by the drill (twice! even when there was no need to, and it could've been buffed), that my nails started chipping down on the nail bed. They began to snap off and left part of my nailbed very painfully exposed. Horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I have typically very strong nails that can grow very long with shellac. I had to go elsewhere to get it removed, and the nails were bending as the other technician tried to remove the remaining gel.
