I literally cannot explain how happy I am with my hair and the overall experience. As a mixed race woman I have spent my life dreading hair appointments and to be honest have avoided them all together. Finally I have found someone who not only knows how to deal with my hair (mixed Greek and Caribbean) but actually takes pride in doing a good job of it. Stephanie explained from the outset what I could expect in dying and bleaching my hair after having dying it black for a number of years. I appreciated the honesty as most hairdressers will tell you what you want to hear to take your money. I also heard her give an honest answer to another possible client who came in during my appointment which may have lost her a customer but would keep her integrity intact, unlike most hairdressers. Now to my hair. I don't understand how it is possible that after Stephanie bleached and toned my hair it feels more healthy than when I came in! It was a big change for me, cutting a lot of length and changing the colour and I have had so many compliments. I chose to have Stephanie do my hair because I had seen over the course of a year what she did with her own, her skill with choosing the perfect colour to go with your skin tone, a modern cut and knowing how to look after hair to keep it healthy. Best decision I made all year, I will never let anyone else touch my hair. I have been to other hairdressers who claim to know how to manage mixed race hair and they pale in comparison.
