Despite what I felt was thorough perm consultation in the form of several visits (I even went in for a blow dry to see no it might look - paid), I ended up with a semi-permanent hairstyle nothing like any of the pictures I had showed the staff or conversations we had. I felt extremely upset and as if I hadn’t been listened to at all. The blow dry was... ok. It was done with a side parting without asking me or taking notice, evidently. The staff were comforting and encouraging until my new hair was revealed, when one pretty much inferred I looked like a poodle (I had wanted larger curls, but ended up with spiral/ corkscrew) and when I questioned the size of the curls/ that they were much smaller than the blow dry, the response was: ‘But that was a blow dry, this is a perm.’ This clearly demonstrates a lack of knowledge around rod sizes. I was so embarrassed I practically threw the money at them and couldn’t get out fast enough. Luckily I was there on a weekday over a Saturday. I have since called and left a message expressing my dissatisfaction, but haven’t even received a response, let alone an offer to help. Perhaps too much blind faith on my part, but don’t you expect the experts to guide you somewhat?
My experience at Dion Hair Salon was really nice! They seemed all really nice people, there was 4/5 people there but they attended me really quick, I didn't wait more than 3 minutes. I explained what I wanted and the hairdresser suggested me some ideas and I was really happy with the results!
