I had a great experience at Do-Lalli. Lalli wanted to know what I *didn't* like about my hair. I've never been asked this by a hairdresser before - my experience has usually been that a stylist has little interest in me as an individual and will instead cut and colour in a 'one size fits all' fashion. My hair is very fine and has a tendency to sit flat without lots of product intervention, so Lalli was keen to cut it into a style that would naturally give it fullness and body. She was also interested in my face shape and bone structure - again, something other hairdressers I have visited have disappointingly always overlooked.
I'm so pleased with the cut. Minimal length has been taken yet it sits completely differently on my head. The highlights are lovely and I'm still amazed by how effortlessly and speedily Lalli put the foils in.
5/5 - Thanks Lalli :)
Really liked my cut and highlights. I was asked a lot of questions which I really appreciated as it meant that I got a cut and style I actually wanted! The salon is really interesting, a work in progress but definitely worth a visit.
I've always liked the idea of having long hair but by the time I have grown it I always end up wearing it up so it's only a matter of time before I have it all chopped off again. It just doesn't look right down to me. So I went to Do-Lalli for the usual short chop. I am pleased to say that I was gently persuaded to keep my long locks and Lalli has restyled my hair with such a perceptive eye that I now feel confident wearing my hair down and do so most days. In some ways its been a really subtle change but it has made all the difference to me. I've even swapped the side I part my hair (on Lalli's advice) - something I never thought I'd do - and I have to agree that it works much better that way now. I'm really grateful to Lalli for the confidence she has given me and love her unique and highly personalised approach to cutting hair.
