I understand that the manicurist was trying to be thorough but my nails bled a few times during the manicure and are now very red and swollen. One nail has also separated from the shellac and each nail was painted and set one at a time so it took a long time.
As I have been in the beauty business for many years, I can say that this place is shocking! Refurbishment can not be your excuse for the dirt everywhere. I don't expect you to have fluent English as a hairdresser but learn at least how to pronounce 'straight'. When you drop the brush, you can't pick it up from the floor and use it on the customer. When you brush the wet hair, you have to put a towel on the shoulder to avoid the shirt being wet and full of hair! These are just the basic things!
Unfortunately Anjela can't do blow dry at all! Even I pointed out for her the mistakes, she didn't and couldn't do it. They charged me extra £10 for the straightening after the "blow dry" what I wouldn't mind at all but even that one she was unable to do. She burnt my hair at the front while she was struggling with it. She was rushing without being accurate. I was in shocked when she asked me if she can put oil on it, that really did she finish? It was still wavy, she didn't even touch the roots. During my work I have met so many hairdressers and it's never a big problem if someone is not as talented. The problem starts when someone is lazy to do a proper job and charge ridiculous amount for ridiculous job. This happened with me at this salon. I suggest the staff to visit few 'quality' salons to learn how a salon looks like when it's clean and where customers leave satisfied. Otherwise you will never be a professional salon!
Lashes looked nice and natural after application but they didn't last long at all ( started to fall out after 3 days). I normally get them done elsewhere however forgot to book on time so decided to come here instead. Appt was running late, the lady did apologise. I would come back if lashes lasted longer!
