The hair dresser was really nice, it was supposed to be 55 mins but I was out of of there in 25mins, I would have been happier to relax into it. The hairdresser wanted to blow dry my hair first before cutting it but then I explained I wanted it blow dried curly so she cut it wet. The end result was nice and better than I expected.
I arrived on time for my appointment, but had to wait 15 minutes as they had double booked another 3pm appointment. The manager just told the hairdresser this and didn't bother to get in touch with me which I thought was a bit silly.
The hair salon was really dirty with loads of hair on the floor that had clearly been there for a while, and just dust everywhere.
Whilst my haircut is alright, nothing special but alright, it isn't exactly what I asked for. The woman couldn't speak great English so when I said what I wanted and then asked why she hadn't done it by the end, she just told me it wouldn't look right. In a way I like when hairdressers give their professional opinions, but she should have said this at the beginning not at the end. I wanted my hair cut from mid-back to my shoulders and she used a razor rather than scissors which has never happened before. She straightened it before she cut it - something I have never seen before and upon reflection clearly means it's going to be way shorter when it's not in a really straightened state. She wouldn't feather the hair around my face when I asked her to several times, and really it would look way better if she just did what I said.
She tried to charge me more than the Treatwell price. It's cheap enough but you can find better places - don't recommend.
