Great venue, friendly staff, best jacuzzi I've had for a while. Lovely to have the choice of steam room and sauna. Massage was brilliant. Relaxation room is really comfortable. Free herbal teas and water are available. The only thing missing is a small dryer for swimsuits but that would be an easy win. We also had the cream tea beforehand - best one of those I've found locally too. Would definitely recommend.
The spa was excellent. Treatments were brilliant. We then went into the hotel for a cream tea. It was very empty and had no real atmosphere. Some back ground music or something would have been good. Cream tea itself was fab. Hotel needs some life added to it.
Very surprised and disappointed on arriving at the venue (Hotel). This was echoed by other people arriving at the same time. My therapist was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. The relaxation room was lovely, warm and relaxing. The rest of the spa didn't really feel that inviting. Everywhere was clean but there was something missing.
We had cream tea which was good. However the dining room was very impersonal and cold.
The venue was small but we were able to make use of all the facilities as it was not crowded. The spa provided a lovely ambience in their relaxation and rehydration areas and the thermal suite was intimate but well facilitated. The treatment rooms were calm, warm and inviting spaces and I was made to feel comfortable and reassured throughout my treatment experience. If the venue were a little closer to my home, I would imagine I would be a very regular customer going forward.
