About

Stepping into my world isn’t just about hair; it’s about stepping into a realm of care and enchantment. Born into a lineage of hair artisans in the South of Brazil. Mom, uncle, sister, we all share the common passion of taking care of people and their hair. From a young age I played hairdresser for fun and always had fashion magazines around, they were material for school home-work and the lenses through which I understood the world and aspired to be a better me. As a teenager I worked on the family business for pocket money and slowly started learning the trade. The salon was an extension of home and this cosy spell is felt by those who grace my salon chair. I study Fashion Design at UDESC University in Brazil, I won several awards, including one promoted by the Makenji fashion store chain, that granted me an all paid trip to Milan to check the Fashion Week and a spot for a fashion show with my collection on the local Fashion week. On the fallowing weeks came by mail all the documents needed for me to start my Italian citizenship process, courtesy of a distant relative. All this expanded my 20’s horizons to what the world could offer me. Working with fashion on the atelier though, don’t have the same connection with the final costumer as salon does. There’s a lot of noise in the chain of beauty. One of the main reasons I like fashion is the expression of the self, the fine tune between the inner and what is trendy. As an over-weight teenager, I have felt on my own skin the pressure to conform with a market beauty standard, I wasn’t feeling the same satisfaction with my job as when I see my salon clients manifesting their inner beauty, so I went back to hair, and study to become a professional. Soon enough the scratch for adventures on a foreign land brought me to vibrant London in 2011. Here I updated my technics to the local market, training on L’Oréal Academy, Hob Academy, Not Another Academy, as well as fashion courses at Central St. Martins. But Brazilian traits remain at the core of my work, such as how easy I work with different types of hair: ethnic, fine, course, curly; the culture of lunar hair cut; and my Latin flair, now spiced up by the constant inspiration of the dynamic streets of London. I like to take care of myself from body to spirit. Gym, running, hiking, gardening, nature, socializing, yoga, meditation and rituals are a constant. I like to host dinner parties, cook and discover new ingredients, go out to dance, immerse in a new video game, go check art exhibitions, stay in and pet my cat Misha or travel to exotic places full of history and unique culture and flavours. I like to sew, to dress and to create. Every act is a brushstroke of self-care and exploration in this art piece that is my life. I take care of my clients as I take care of my garden, pruning on the right time, using good treatments and products, to show their unique colour and texture, looking for that lush feeling of walking into an enchanted secret garden. Together, we cultivate not just hairstyles, but stories—stories of resilience, fights and triumphs in the entangled roots of human experience. So, let us embark on this journey together, where every visit to my salon is a pilgrimage to rediscover the lush beauty that blooms within. As you step into my world, know that you are not just a client—you are a cherished soul, ready to unveil the most beautiful version of yourself. AW-16512773622
