Not somewhere I would go back to .all a bit amateurish and no sense that the staff are fully engaged with their job. Nails began to chip 24 hours in and hand massage was a joke .Had booked a parra fin treatment but nobody bothered to let me know in advance machine had broken down .much better service at any nail bar
I went for a sunbed in the salon and whilst the staff were really lovely, warm, welcoming and friendly, the sunbed is a bit weird. It's kind of a capsule in the middle of the salon. So, although nobody can see you, you can still hear all that is going on in the salon and, presumably, they can hear you. It's kind of like being in a public toilet! There is also a sign on the inside asking you to clean the bed before and after use, which to be honest, I think should be included in the price. It was not the most relaxing experience, but without many other options in the area is perfectly adequate and I would go again.
Easily the best gel manicure I have ever had, I recommend it highly.
Only downside is that they had a special offer on gels that wasn't on Wahanda... I paid in advance and used a voucher towards it, and could have saved money had the reduced price been online. Also there was no price on Wahanda for soaking off a previous manicure.
Other than that, I would definitely go back!
The room for the massage was in poor condition, but that was not really the main issue. Your face is lying up at the point where light comes in from the window on the wall behind you. If you are getting a massage in the day time, the light will be shining in your closed eyes. The staff outside of the room is also very loud and it is disruptive to a relaxing environment. The massage therapist also didn't seem to know how to actually massage, not really knowing where the muscles were laid out. When she had me roll over onto my stomach, there was no adjustment for me to place my face in a position looking down and my head was twisted the whole time. This was honestly the worst massage I have ever had. Overall a spa is a place that you go to relax and the small details should be thought of, even in places that are not necessarily high-end and this place has not thought of anything from their customer's point of view.
