The facilities were nice and warm and clean, but I told my therapist I wanted a Brazilian and then ended up with a Hollywood. Obviously by the time I realised it was too late. And I have been to other spas before where they were much more thorough. I have been here before and the wax was so hot it burned my skin, and thought maybe it was a one off, but this time it burned me again and I told therapist it was too hot but the wax temperature wasn’t turned down, she only waited for it to cool in the air

The spa is lovely - really clean and peaceful with great changing facilities. I know others have mentioned the lack of pool etc but I don't mind that - it's a lovely warm relaxing environment which is what I look for in a spa. The staff were friendly and my facial was gorgeous - really relaxing and luxurious, the therapist did a great job and I felt as though I was melting into the bed at certain points! However I've marked the experience down as, literally as soon as it was over, the therapist started trying to sell me the products she'd used. She even held the brochure in front of my face and gave me her sales pitch while I was still lying down! She then cornered me in reception after I'd gotten changed to further try to persuade me to spend £80 on products, and when it was obvious I wasn't interested, she suggested I could buy them for a friend instead! It just left a really bad taste in my mouth - I'd spent £75 on a (really lovely) treatment, which was a big splurge for me, and I was made to feel awkward and cheap afterwards for not wanting to spend even more. It made me feel like the whole treatment was just building up to her trying to sell me the products.
The venue is really nice and location is great right on the water. The facilities were really clean and it wasn’t crowded at all. Only thing that would make it better is a pool however the sauna and steam rooms were great. Would also suggest it would be good if staff could keep an eye on noise levels in the relaxation/ quiet rooms. Overall really positive experience and an amazing massage!
