I wouldn't tell my friends about this experience, I bought the package as a birthday celebration for my boyfriend as I felt he deserved a day out and also a massage.
Upon arriving to the hotel, the staff were lovely both at the reception desk and the spa reception. When we arrived at the spa, the man who welcomed us was very polite and friendly, we filled out a consultation form and directed us to the changing rooms. We were then shown the facilities before waiting for our treatment. The relaxation room was nice and peaceful, when it was time for our massage we didn't get to have it together which was disappointing but one at a time. The massuse was mediocre, I didn't feel like any tension was released and even when I was telling her to push harder she was still very gentle, my boyfriend also said the same. Once we had both finished our treatment we wanted to relax in the sauna and the other facilities but couldn't because it was packed with sweaty boys who had just come out from the gym which was very intimidating. Part of the package was a glass of prosecco which we never received!
Overall the spa experience was very very poor, we didn't get to enjoy the full facilities and the massage was mediocre. The spa are selling their name and not the quality it provides, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone nor will I come back again.
Bought to extend the bank holiday and I was very much impressed. First time having a professional massage and my partner enjoyed the whole day so success all round, they even managed to dig out a pair of slippers for us when there were none available! The first two courses from the set menu were so nice, we had almost no choice but to go for a third. Thanks very much.
The therapists here are fantastic and we had very good treatments from them. We loved the heated chairs in the relaxation room and then had a beautiful afternoon tea in the restaurant. The only problem was the booking experience - we had a dated booking through wahanda and received confirmation, but when I called to book the specific treatments nobody answered. I emailed and kept trying to call, eventually I received a voicemail telling me my treatment times. When we arrived the staff asked for our voucher - which we didn't have as it wasn't that kind of booking with a voucher. I ended up having to resend all of the emails I had sent and received to do with the booking, all a bit frustrating especially as when I visited this venue before there were no problems, they booked me in using the wahanda booking reference. So the reception staff need to have a little more training on how to welcome wahanda bookings but aside from that everything was good!
I had a 30 mins back massage which was very good and I wished I purchased a 60 minutes massage instead. Would recciemend and go back.
I cannot recommend this spa enough. I attended this Spa as a last minute decision for my 16 yo sister's birthday. The initial treatment that I had was unavailable but Isabella went out of her way to recommend another one. We had the Moroccan treatment, plus use of all the facilities including the amazing relaxation room. It was excellent value for money and they even organised a birthday cake for my sister, without me asking. All new facilities, relaxing atmosphere and excellent staff. Really happy with our treatment.
