My boyfriend and I went here for a lovely moroccan steam cleansing ritual. The facilities were fantastic, we used the gym beforehand, and relaxed for an hour afterwards. The staff were so friendly and really helpful and everything is included- towels, water, tea, shampoo etc.
The treatment itself was lovely, you do it all yourself but the product are fantastic and it's a really nice experience. You basically get mud, salt scrub and a face mask, go into the steam room and smother yourself in it. Then you blast yourself with an all over shower and cover yourself in oil.
The spa itself was lovely but the only thing that let it down for me was that people in the relaxation room were on their phones, loud message tones and others were so chatting so loudly I couldn't relax. That's not the spa's fault but they should probably check in every so often and ask people to be chilled if they're not!
We went as a group of 4 girls to get some pampering instead of the usual dinner and we really enjoyed the evening. The spa is small but very nicely done. We spent a lot of time in the 2 saunas and then relaxed on the heated loungers with a great view of the O2. The spa is quite far out and not very big so I am not sure we would go again but it was definitely great value for money and lovely to try it out.
Great treatment and relaxing environment. The therapist was very helpful and made me feel relaxed which made the experience a pleasure, the relaxation area with heated stone beds and herbal tea were a treat after the facial. I will be returning for further treatments in the near furture.
Went with a group of friends, very beautiful deco, everything was clean and relaxing. Some hiccups with the actual booking, timings were a little different to what I was told. Staff took some time actually finding my booking on system (?) but other than that I can not complain. I used the Spa in the City voucher great value for money. The spa facilites were great - multi-experience showers, sauna steam room and a relaxation room with heated seats! We were given sorbets after our morrocan cleansing treatment - nice lil touch. My massage was very relaxing and perfect.Overall us girlies enjoyed our vist throughly and are planning our next very soon.
We had a 'spa in the city package' which included a moroccan steam cleansing ritual and a 6omin treatment of choice of which we choose the aromatherapy massage. The spa is situated in a lovely hotel overlooking the Thames and the O2. The atmosphere on first entering the spa is one of calmness and cleanliness. The receptionist appeared to be expecting us so it didn't take long to check in, the changing rooms were lovely with really deep lockers and compartments for all your personal belongings. The relaxation room was nice, the heated stone loungers were particularly good but there were only 6 so it can get full up quick. The views from the relaxation room are ok but half the loungers look onto a block of flats so not all inspiring. Our therapist was really friendly and put us at ease explaining the moroccan steam cleanse very well. The muds used are amazing and really made my skin smooth. The massage was equally as good with the therapists taking the time to discuss how I wanted the massage to be; pressure, specific areas etc. We then returned to the relaxation room where we were given sorbet and choice of flavoured tea. Overall a brillant experience we didn't want to leave! The only negative was that as we left and my partner was waiting for me to come out of the changing room he overhead two therapists who were cleaning out a treatment room, complaining about the way the spa was run and making comments about the other therapists that worked there - a little unprofessional.
