This has been one of the nicest spa facilities I went in London. Everything is brand new and very well designed. My favourite bit was the relaxation room with hot tile loungers overlooking the Millennium Dome. The staff provided excellent customer service and we also got offered tea with our treatment. Steam room and sauna were great too, especially the ice fountain. Would go back there anytime. It's just a bit far out to get there which is the only downside I can think of.
Attended with my wife & I have to say that the East River Spa is an excellent place to relax or revitalise. There is a wonderful relaxation room and the steam & sauna is first class. My only suggestion on improvement is to offer dried fruit and mixed nuts instead of the (not so healthy looking) apples. Overall, a very nice place.
Took my mum for a birthday treat, absolutely wonderful, very relaxing atmosphere and great value, definitely go again. Oh and the view from the relaxation room is lovely, a really nice spa
the place is very nice and the perfect way to relax after a long day at work. I tried the spa facilities and I defintely want to come back for more treatments
This place is just awesome...the staff that work there, were really friendly and helpful. I got lost on the way there cuz my TomTom was playin up :-s (need to upgrade the map, i think), as the street wasnt coming up but anyway, i was running late so i called the reception and they told me, wouldnt be a problem for being late. The facilities are very good, the value was great and the people as i mentioned before, top notch ;-) I used the sauna and the steam room plus the relaxation area and let me tell you, have no complaints or bad bits to point out!
A very good chilled out atmosphere and everything is so clean...you really enjoy for the time you are there.
One minimal thing to point out would be, to put up towels, bathrobes and flip flops accessible to the clients, somewhere in the changing rooms because for the times you use the sauna and steam room, you might wanna change a couple of times...they get too wet and that will not make some people too comfortable but still, this is very minor and you can always ask the staff and they will be able to help but that didnt bothered me too much...i just thought to point that out but like i said, wouldnt worry too much about it.
As for me, i will comeback there very very soon and have a great time once again...the place is AWESOME ;-)
Id give a 4* to East River Spa
