Salon was quiet but floor covered in hair from previous clients. Haircut was pretty standard, as I’d expect from a £12 barbers really with a quick wash thrown in - not a salon charging £30+. What separates the bog standard barbers and a salon is the attention to detail and there wasn’t really any. Vast majority done with the clippers and comb rather than scissors which just isn’t a great sign. Often you get a quick wet shave to sharpen up lines, not here. Warm face towel to freshen up after? Nope. Just not impressed with the price for the service offered and the product recommended at the end just left hair all sticky. Wouldn’t return.
Unfortunately my experience at this salon was very bad. Firstly, I went in for an eyelash tint, however the woman doing my treatment thought it was an eyebrow tint. I had to point this out just as she was about to dye one of my brows. Second, the way that she removed the dye meant that some of it went in my eyes. Although she removed it, she was quite slow in doing so, which was not ideal as I was in a lot of pain! She also suggested that the dye got in my eyes because I was 'moving' them. Finally, the dye was so light that they do not look tinted at all. It was a complete waste of money and I will have to get them re-tinted at another salon. If it wasn't for already having dye in both eyes I would have asked her to redo. If I could give it no stars I would.
I would highly recommend. The relaxing massage was really good, the therapist was really well trained & it was the right pressure. She was a really good masseuse. The only suggestion would be to have a lavender eye pack for when they massage the front as the lights are quite bright so would just help you to stay relaxed. I would definitely recommend and I will be back.
