I have been to solace spa for a bikini wax regularly for the past year and it has been great. The building, decor and facilities are beautiful. Everything is very clean, calm and relaxing. The staff and therapists have been exceptional, and they work to a very high standard. A great experience!!
I had a full body exfoliation treatment prior to going on holiday so that my skin would be ready for the summer rays.
This was my first time at Solace and I was extremely impressed. On-site parking is a welcome bonus and I received a warm welcome from the receptionist.
The reception area is very red(!) - rather like you'd imagine a Victorian boudoir for 'ladies of questionable morals' to be working in !!! but this is my only slight complaint for an otherwise perfect visit.
I appreciated the complimentary drinks and only waited a few minutes before being greeted by Becky.
The treatment room was a good size and very clean. Ideal temperature, lighting was ambient with relaxing background music.
The actual treatment was well explained and very relaxing too. Becky was very friendly - with just the right amount of chat (nothing worse than when a beauty therapist talks 'ten to the dozen' whilst you're trying to lose yourself!!)
Now that I've found Solace Spa I will certainly return and would definitely recommend.
I've visited Solace Spa on a number of occasions and have had the following treatments :- Solace Revive Facial , Dermalogica Luxury Facial , Half Body Massage. Each and every time has been a brilliant experience, previously I'd never really been into spa's , not a girly girl but I'm now a total convert. Last July I purchased some treatments as wedding gifts to help the couple look their best on the big day and they truly enjoyed it!!! Much better than towels, plates etc.
In an ideal world I'd have a treatment at least every month that's how highly I'd rate it , if anyone asks me what I want now in terms of gifts hold the chocolate, just gift vouchers for Solace Spa pretty please x x x :)
This was my second time at Solace Spa and I can definatly say that I enjoyed it as much as the first My therapist this time was Lorraine who chatted to me like an old friend and gave me good advice about exfoliation I definatly enjoyed the scalp and shoulder massage

I cannot rate this spa highly enought. I wish I had found it years ago. I now forgo other luxuries to ensure I can have my treatments every 3 or 4 weeks. Is the best spa ever. You are treated as a friend and I had my first ever leg wax today and am a convert! The facial is undoubtedly the best, most relaxing facial I have ever had and my skin feels and looks good. What can I say but that I would be distraught if ever they were not there! THANKYOU to all the staff but especially Stacey.
