Brazilian wax for around 10 years now and I’ve never been this red and sore before. It’s now been 24 hours and it is still incredibly red and now blistering. I found the wax to be quite hot and did say ‘ow’ a few times. At first she didn’t respond, then I said explicitly that it was a bit hot and she just brushed it off saying she couldn’t turn it down because then the wax wouldn’t be runny enough. It felt like I was being burnt and the aftermath goes to show I was. I’ve taken photos but cannot share them for obvious reasons. I just hope it all settles down and heals by Friday as I’m going on a beach holiday!!! I went to Edward James because I trust the Aveda brand and have been going to their spas and salons for around 10 years as well, all over the world. But I’m sorry to say I won’t be coming back here for a Brazilian wax.
