I got bruised during my Brazilian waxing. I understand that happens with sensitive skin sometimes, but then the beautician, I don't remember her name, an Egyptian lady, tried to persuade me that I was allergic to wax!! The wax itself was extremely hot and I felt very uncomfortable when she was applying it. She did nothing to decrease the temperature like keeping it out for a bit longer before she applies it to my skin. She was trying big areas of skin, instead of small and i have many hair left on. In retrospect, I should have challenged me paying £35 for that experience as i still have the bruise and it hurts! I can understand that people have different types of skin and that beauticians try their best, but apologizing instead of blaming my skin would made it much more easier for me.
