The massage was dire. The masseuse seemed bored and distracted and hardly applied any pressure at all. She didn't even ask my name. There was no 'checking in' with me to see what pressure I would like either. it was very slap dash and it felt like she didn't know what she was doing. The massage room was on the side of a hairdressers and was not conducive to relaxation at all as outside was noisy, it was also quite cold in the room too.
Although this venue is basic and within a hairdressing salon, the massage is fantastic. It really makes a difference and you feel the benefit for days afterwards. Definately recommend and would do this again if the offer came up.
I was very happy with this massage.I wanted a strong Thai massage because I had many aches and pains in my legs back and neck. When the massage was complete my pains had gone and I had a very sound night's sleep.
Good service and friendly staff who were professional and courteous. I got a haircut and blow dry and liked the style and the way it turned out. Would go again.
I can't help feeling disappointed and used after this visit. The voucher was for one hour, but I was "dismissed" after 45 min. The therapist spoke hardly English, but managed to convey that I had knots in the shoulders and if I wanted to use something similiar to deep heat/Tiger balm - for an extra £5! This was then to be paid in the room, directly to her. (They otherwise use only normal baby oil) Does the management know about this? Also her massage strokes were too fast and I had the feeling someone had pushed the "fast forward" button - not very relaxing. Another thing to comment on is that there were no smooth transition from limb to limb when she was working. It was work on one limb. Stop. Start on another limb. So lots of stop and starts. Other therapists tend to keep one hand on you at all times, to give you the feeling of continuity. The venue it self was fine. Clean and cosy.
