I bought the £10 facial deal, which I thought was exceptionally good value. The salon is pleasant, fairly modern with a friendly feeling. I enjoyed the facial and my skin definitely felt a lot tighter afterwards, however it was my first so I have no grounds for comparison. My therapist was very friendly but she talked through-out, so I found it hard to relax. Particularly as she was on the hard sell trying to get me to come back or buy face masks they were selling. Good deal but I don't think I'll be going back for the full price.
I had an excellent massage at Elegant Studios The therapist was great, the ambiance was fine and the location can't be beat. Very reasonable even without a voucher. I look forward to going back.
I purchased the massage voucher for my husband. He was a bit unsure when he went in as you just see the hairdressing side at first. He purchased an extra half hour for £10. The massage rooms are compact and functional. He was happy with the massage, which was deep enough to tackle his stress, aches and pains, and he said he would go back.
The second time I went to this salon, I got a Japanese Shiatsu massage. I really rank the masseuse ladies highly here as their techniques are so good. The Japanese lady had strong fingers which were applied to the pressure points. Painful at times but good pain. Unlike the Thai massage I had a few weeks back, this time my body was not in pain afterwards but did not feel as good afterwards either. I think I will stick to the Thai massage.
First massage that I've received that wasn't on a beach in Thailand - and a great experience it was too. The therapist was great, and made sure that she gave the right pressure for me. She was obviously very skilled, using her body weight and feet to reach deep into my muscles.
The studio is upstairs in the middle of China town - not very promising on the way up, but the massage room itself was very relaxing and quiet. A really good experience and I plan to return.
