After reading reviews about Elegant studio I was a bit worried that I might not be able to find it easily. However, it is located in the middle of China town and is clearly posted. I chose to have the Thai massage which was brilliant. My therapist was experienced and able to work out quickly where my pressure points were.
She was friendly and encouraging through the hard parts of the massage - I have quite a few tension problems in my shoulders. At the end of my massage she told me what to expect in terms of recovery over the next couple of days, and again, she was spot on. This wasn't a relaxing massage and those of you who've had Thai massage before will know not to expect relaxation. It was just what I wanted and needed.
I would definitely recommend Elegant to others.
I had a Thai massage and it was incredible. The therapist was excellent and it's a really good massage for people who have sore muscles from sport like I do! Excellent value for money as well. The only downside is that the treatment rooms are next to the hair salon reception which is very noisy so it's difficult to switch off. A family with a child were in the reception when I had my treatment and it's amazing how loud they were! Also, it's above or next to a Chinese restaurant so you often get whiffs of Chinese food while you are being treated. I didn't mind this too much as I like the smell and was hungry! But some might!
The staff at the salon were really attentive. Trinity, the stylist was really lovely, understood exactly what I wanted and gave me some good tips. The conditioning treatment was also really nice.
Overall, I find the place very very nice, the location is perfect for me, the therapist was very professional but friendly.
I'd recommend this to anyone.
and I would definitely visit them again.
Elegant Studio has a relaxed atmosphere - the stylist puts you at ease and offers you a drink as soon as you walk through the door. The masseuse was very friendly but didn't ask me what pressure I wanted so it wasn't as hard as I would have liked.
