It was a good place, but my experience was just average. However, with the Wahanda daily deal, it was really great value and also close to my work which helps! Also, they didn't cut too much off!
The massage was nice although it was only 50 minutes when I booked an hour massage. Everything considered it was good value. The therapist was good at what she did and the techniques were relaxing.
The price was definitely worth it but the ambience and efficiency were a bit so-so as they were extremely busy and just wanted a big turnover so the treatment was very generic. Probably wouldn't go back!
The venue is right in the middle of china town, it felt rather busy. However, I liked it and it felt exciting and such an adventure. The staff were really friendly and pretty laid back and I felt comfortable being there. The treatment was good value for the amount of money I had paid. I would definitely go back there.
Booking was easy and the venue is not too difficult to find, right in the heart of Chinatown, so very central. Didn't have to wait too long to get seen but was just led into the treatment room without any instructions so had to get undressed in front of the therapist, which was a bit awkward. Having never had a Thai Massage before, I didn't know what to expect but from what I had heard, I'd have definetely expected more. Most of the massage was through a towel, which wasn't very relaxing and the therapist didn't apply as much pressure as I had hoped for. Also, the hair salon next door has the music on very loud, which can be clearly heard in the treatment rooms and is a little off putting. My deal included £10 off a cut and blowdry but this was never offered to me at reception so I had to ask about it myself and was told that it only applied if I had the cut there and then. Seeing as I had the time, I agreed and asked for just a little trim as I'm trying to grow my hair out. My stylist seemed to understand, but after cutting around the edges, he started chopping 2" layers out all over the place. He didn't leave me with a bad cut as such, but definetely not what I had asked for. All in all, £25 wasn't bad for a 30 minute massage and a haircut but I didn't leave the salon as elated as I was expecting to feel after a pamper session and I don't think I'd ever go back, even on a special deal.
