I showed the stylist several photos of how I wanted my cut, which she agreed to. I asked for subtle layers and a small amount of face framing. She proceeded to cut severe layers, leaving my hair choppy and not well blended. She stated she did this because the reference photos featured a woman with thicker hair than I had, so would not achieve the same result. I would have preferred her to explain this prior to cutting. In fairness, she did ask me mid-cut about the length of the framing.
