Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience at this salon. I arrived, and waited 15 minutes for my appointment. They were busy, but there was no offer of tea/magazines, etc. I didn't mind the delay, of course, as it was a Saturday close to Christmas, but it became clear that they weren't prepared for my appointment. They were fitting in many, many appointments that day, far more than there was time for. I had my hair washed, (no questions as to what products I would like, as is usual), and then waited to have my hair cut. As my hairdresser's English was poor, I found it very difficult to communicate what I wanted, and there were several misunderstandings, which I found very stressful. Although another hairdresser helped translate, it was embarrassing for me. They prioritised their other customers, and those who had come in for a wash and blow dry after me were served first: after I had been there an hour and 15 minutes, and was still sitting there with wet hair while I was ignored by staff, I asked why other customers were being served before me. The staff answered that they didn't realise I was having a hair cut, so they didn't have time for my appointment. However, on their system at the end of the appointment, I could see that it was perfectly clear that I was booked in for a wash, haircut and blow dry. I almost walked out at one point when I was left for over 20 minutes while my hairdresser went to do a blow dry for another customer. I left 1 hour and 45 minutes later after being close to tears for some of the time. I considered complaining and asking for a refund, except for the fact that the actual haircut was ok in the end. I have always had great experiences through Treatwell salons in the past, but I am afraid I would not recommend this salon! Not a relaxing experience, but entirely chaotic!
