Overall nice first visit
The place lacks hygiene, and also don't teach the staff the UK regulations. Pritt the lady who did my pedicure was very funny and kind, but the worst pedicure I have ever had. Eli's announce the pedicure as a 'Luxury Pedicure', it is completely the opposite. The staff was overwhelmed, only 2 ladies, with a non-stop phone ringing, walk-in customers, and appointments pilling up. Pritt had to stop my pedicure 3 times, to do a threading, another pedicure, and to help her colleague who was completely lost with the system. A disaster, I arrived at 15.34 and left at 17.20. All the China Glaze nail varnishes were completely dry, I picked this place because of that brand, I ended up with an O.P.I. varnish and the colour is horrendous. The job, well the nail varnish on my toes is full of lines, plus bubbles. Attention to the Manager Bhumi, please improve all the above addressed.
Brilliant as awlays
Calm and friendly atmosphere. Hairdresser was very attentive, listened to what I wanted and paid good attention to the picture I took in. I received many compliments on my lovely haircut the next day. Will return again.
I feel guilty giving a really quite bad review but this was not a good experience. End result: slightly messy nails that are not the colour I wanted that I have had to try to tidy up myself. To start, very, very limited colour options. When I chose the ones I wanted, the lady then picked a non-Shellac brand of similar colours. I had to repeatedly ask for the one I wanted to the point where I felt rude. Next, this wasn’t a manicure as paid for - it was just colour. No cuticle care and not great shaping, hangnails - I had to go and tidy at home. Finally, the upper coat I had asked for turned out (when we are 2/3 through the session) not to be available although it was marked as available. The lady put another colour on, it looked really terrible, and she refused to try another - again, even though there were several marked as available. She also told me she preferred one colour and long nails and told me Shellac only worked with long nails. I had to be insistent about shorter nails - the same length I have had my nails done with for five years. It was cheaper than anywhere else in the area but I feel quite cheated with my slightly messy nails that aren’t the colour I wanted! I didn’t feel like the treat to myself that I wanted after a rubbish few weeks :(
