Very nice salon - decor very professional and smart. Was a bit disappointed with the service for the price. The beautician started doing a strip wax which I wasn’t expecting. I checked what I had booked afterwards and the service description does specify hot wax which I’d expect for £35. When I asked for hot wax she did start using it but she wasn’t very good with it- she didn’t leave the wax to get hard enough before pulling it off so it was quite painful. She didn’t seem confident with using it and made an odd comment that most people find hot wax more painful which is rubbish IMO- strip wax for a Hollywood is very painful! Also nothing was applied to the skin before the wax was applied to stop the wax sticking to the skin. Finally when doing the back she made me put my legs in the air like someone changing a nappy! Usually you are told to lie on your front or side. Sorry to be critical, it wasn’t terrible - the above is intended as constructive feedback.
