Your worst waxing horror.
The owner of this salon is lovely. Unfortunately on my first visit, I was paired with a hostile, angry member of staff who had no empathy for the sensitive experience that a brazilian wax is. She tutted and screamed at me when the pain made me flinch. I explained, embarrassed, that i needed a few seconds between each yank to compose myself. Instead she carried on, including burning my skin with scalding wax. Again, I asked for a moment to breathe because it was so painful. She walked out and refused to finish the job. PS this salon also puts baby powder on your lady bits which is so wrong! I've heard it’s linked to ovarian cancer which they didn’t seem to know.
I was offered a full refund by the owner.

I went to have a gel manicure as a first time customer. The place looked lovely and the ladies who welcomed me were very friendly,however, my therapist was not as friendly, almost annoyed, which did not make me feel much at ease. Also, although when I left my nails looked very nice and the treatment was good, already one week later they started breaking, chipping and peeling on the sides. As I usually do gel to keep my nails a bit stronger and thicker I feel this time they were filed too much and that made them weak. Quite a disappointment unfortunately!
