Emma may be good at nails, which is what she has 5 star reviews for, but please do not go to this lady for a waxing.
It was an awful experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
I have had many years experience of having Hollywood waxes, but this time I decided to try out my local salon.
It was the strangest experience I have ever had in a beauticians… in fact I came away feeling violated!
The lady asked me to get ready for the waxing so, as I always have done before, I took off my trousers and underwear. She came back into the room aghast that I didn’t have underwear on, and quickly asked me to put them back on.
I was confused. I asked how she would be able to give me a Hollywood wax with my underwear on.
Gosh, I soon found out!
She manoeuvred me around in some really odd positions, pulling my underwear here and there (and ruining a perfectly good pair of pants in the process!) as she threw powder on and did the waxing as best she good whilst navigating around my knickers!
The result was not pretty.
I had also made the mistake of booking an eyebrow wax. Once she started hacking at them with a pair of scissors I had to ask her to stop
It was an awful experience
