Store opened late, and despite having a booking for 9am, other walk in customers were seen to first. There was no explanation of why it was opened late or acknowledgement of people waiting. The place was clean, and my therapist was efficient. But I won't becoming back.
She took absolutely no care that this was my first time, no prepping of my skin whatsoever. She just wanted to hurry up, but i kept reminding her in was scared and it was my first time. The pain was unbearable and when I said please stop she kept going. I could also hear her colleague and another customer laughing at me in the shop front as I started crying. The pain was unbearable, but she didn’t seem to care about it or me at all. Will never come here again. The customer service is too poor
Sweetie is amazing at Hollywood waxes and she made me feel comfortable during the session. I have been to other salons but no one does it better than her.
I feel bad leaving this review because the therapist was lovely! Really sweet and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable (I’m pregnant).
But my wax was awful. When I got home there was so much wax left all over my legs and buttom (I literally stuck to my toilet seat). I’ve tried using oil and had a bath (even though you’re not meant to after a wax) but I can’t get the wax off.
I have a lot of hair left, mostly on my Hollywood area but also on my legs and a little on my underarm. I’m not complaining about that though because I think she was just mindful of my pain tolerance being pregnant so didn’t want to keep waxing the same area.
My eyebrows are amazing! She was quick and they look amazing!
Having said all of that, it might be a one off incident. She was the only therapist working and it was busy so I can understand that she may have been in a rush.
I would defo return to have my eyebrows done and might consider doing another wax (if I absolutely had to)
