I unfortunately had a bad experience of this place.
It was my first visit and the salon itself is lovely, clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly.
I went in for a bouncy blow dry and I have no idea how long the girl who was doing my hair had been there but I felt like she didn’t have a clue what she was doing.
I’m not exaggerating when I say the whole process was agony. My hair was getting ripped out my head every time she dried a section as she kept getting my hair stuck between the brush and her thumb.
She used big barrel brushes to set the curls which were constantly being knocked off my face as she used them but when it came to taking them out, she just pulled my hair out from the brushes which left an unbelievably frizzy mess.
To finish, she just pulled all my hair out the brushes and put the mirror up to ask how it was. No brushing through, no fixing, no back combing.
I would have said how bad I thought it was but I couldn’t bare sitting for another hour to be disappointed again so I just left.
Looking at the other clients who had different stylists, theirs looked lovely and I don’t doubt this was just a bad experience with this particular hairdresser but I don’t think I’ll be returning. Waste of money.
