I got a Brazilian blow dry keratin treatment a couple of days ago and can't say muh about the outcome yet , but it looks exactly like I wanted it to! Ambience at the place was ok the only negative aspect was that the hairdressers don't speak any English and there is a constant need of a translator who could randomly just disappear. But other than that, very very very happy

I called ahead to check Geruse does not double dip into wax but uses new wooden sticks for every stroke of wax during each application. I was told this was the case. Upon arrival, staff was friendly and the place is nice and modern, but my expectations for the wax were not met. Firstly, the beautician used one applicator during the entire wax, meaning she double dipped. From a hygiene perspective I would not return. Secondly, some stray hairs we're left, and thirdly, the waxing broke off some hairs rather than pulled them from the room at the beautician had trouble removing the hot wax once hardened on several occasions. Related to the hygiene point, I have been getting waxed regularly for more than 4 years in London with Lycon wax and have never broken out. This wax gave me spots, and I suspect it is due to double dipping.
Would I recommend: not really - definitely not if you care about hygiene in terms of double dipping.
