I had booked a deep tissue massage with a particular practitioner. Without asking me, the practitioner was changed. I got a swedish-type massage (light pressure long strokes) instead of deep tissue, which is what I wanted and paid for. I struggled to communicate with the practitioner, who didn't seem very experienced -- for example, she didn't ask me how the pressure was, and she left parts of my body that weren't being massaged uncovered by the towel so it was very cold and uncomfortable.
