50/50 for me. The facial was done really well and was lovely on my skin, the facilities are modern & lovely also. However it wasn't made clear to me that there were 2 locations, so I ended up at the wrong location and as it was a Sunday the location I turned up to was actually closed. The phone number I had for Lisa - no one was answering and I didn't know what to do! I never received an email confirmation even though I supplied the correct email address, so I was going off google and its mis-leading about which address you go to. Eventually after about half an hour of trying I got a text that informed me of the other location and made my way there to then be 1 hour late for my appointment. they fitted me in which I was grateful but the therapist was not very sympathetic to the situation and I arrived flustered and stressed which is opposite of how I wanted to be feeling prior to a treatment. I found the therapist awkward and slightly rude in all honesty.
Also theres only a sauna and steam there so its a bit boring after 30 minutes, and feel theres nothing left to do. I asked about using the gym but again the therapist was really unhelpful and said I had to go downstairs and sort my own card for it if I wanted to use it as theres a special card you need to open the door to the gym. I think as part of your treatment and facilities that you pay for, that the card should just be provided to you, not make it your problem to go and sort. Very mixed view from me, the facial was done wonderfully, but for the lack of information provided to me and therefore getting lost, stressed and staff being a bit rude and unhelpful, it was a real shame as it let down all the positives that it does have.
A brilliant massage by Shelly in a clean, well-equipped very relaxing spa. The steam room was not working when I arrived but one of the staff turned it on for me later. The massage was amazing. The sauna was great. The spa would benefit from a clock somewhere. Thanks very much for a great morning.
