The hotel itself was excellent. We were upgraded to an executive room which was a nice surprise. The room was lovely, although could have done with some bottled water. The bar and restaurant were both really good and the food was excellent- we really enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast.
We were a little disappointed in the spa facilities- there were no sun loungers free when we got there, pool wasn’t warm enough and no jacuzzi. Also there were no available appointments for the Saturday for treatments even though I rang to book weeks before, so I had to have my facial on the Sunday morning before we left. The facial wasn’t the best tbh. It was supposed to be a “skin specific” but the therapist didn’t ask me any questions or even look at my skin before she started- so not specific at all really, also she didn’t wash all of the face mask off properly. The spa seemed slightly chaotic which isn’t conducive to feeding relaxed as you should at a spa.
So to sum up- hotel, room, food, drinks all excellent- spa a little disappointing.
