The salon was clean. The hairdresser was very friendly and chatty. But she also gave me a really bad haircut. She didn't finish it properly, so much that it looks messy and uneven and just sticks out from the top of my head despite a lot of hair being cut off!! It looks very embarrassing - as if I have cut it myself in my sleep or something!! I rang them telling them that I would be going to a wedding abroad the next day and requested if someone could please do a quick dry cut and somehow fix only the messy bit on the top of my head, but the lady on the phone flatly refused to give me a convenient slot that evening. She said that the hairdressers were busy and booked up for all the rest of the evening, even though on the Treatwell app it clearly said that all the slots from 6pm to 7:30pm that evening were still available and ready to be booked for hair appointments on the app!! Not a good experience overall. I'm definitely not returning again!!!
Bought as a birthday present for my mum and I really wish I had paid a bit more and booked somewhere else. They didn't make her feel welcome, as soon as she arrived they said her hair was too long and she had to pay another £35 (her hair is thin and by her ears... to me that's short, maybe some clarification is needed before you book) and after battling with them they finally agreed to do it for the pre-booked price. She felt awkward the whole way through and it didn't feel like a treat at all. Shame, because I was thinking of booking the same treatment for myself but I think I'll take my business elsewhere.
