First time here, had good ratings online but the spa pedicure I had was not great, she didn't clean my cuticles properly and painted my big toe wonky, the scrubbing itself could have been more through bog standard I guess and at £22 I guess that's all I could really expect. I was the last customer (and only at the time), they were all friendly, but talking amongst themselves across the room, so not very professional, more sort of chilled which is fine. Felt a bit awkward when the lady doing my feet tried to make conversation with me, very unnatural and uncomfortable, especially the way she was staring at me, out me on edge, would rather just have been left to read the magazine I was reading. She was trying but unfortunately it just wasn't good. Shame as it's very cheap for other treatments too, but not sure the standards would be very high. The owner (I assume) was really nice, warm and friendly, think the staff may need real training though. Overall not too bad for a quick fix I guess.
I am very sorry for writing this review because I like Fabulous Hair and Beauty and staff very much and I am a local, but unfortunately they lost me as a client for the manicure treatment. I would never ever go there again for gel nails, and for "luxury" manicure. My gel nails came off literally 3 days after the treatment, I went back and the lady did them again for me for free (so thank you for that) but they came off again in 2 days. She said my nails were too short- but this is not the first time I had gel nails and I always had short nails. Luxury manicure was very far from being luxurious. My hands weren't even put in warm nice smelling water to get the cuticles softened. It was almost like dry manicure. There was water but she started on one hand without putting it into the water?! and the water was cold. Overall it was a waste of £27 :(
