The worst waxing experience I've ever had. My original appointment was at 7pm where I was kept waiting for 30mins with no updates from any staff, there wasn't any one on reception I could ask when my appointment would be so I had to leave as I had other things to do that evening. Got a call saying I should come back for a free wax another day. My appointment was at 7pm. Again, was left waiting for 30 mins with no explanation. When I asked when I'd be seen, I was finally shown into the room. While in the room, I felt very uncomfortable with some of the comments from the beautician. She then gave me the most painful wax I've ever had (and I'm used to getting waxed). It was all very rushed, the wax wasn't left on long enough, so the same bits were being waxed over and over again. When it was eventually over, it was actually a very shoddy job. I will never be returning to Fairmont spa again, the absolute worst customer service I've experienced. The staff were all so rude, no customer care what so ever. If a customer was 30 mins late for an appointment would you still carry out the service? I don't think so. Would never recommend this place for a wax.
I booked a Hollywood wax from Treatwell which was 18pounds as an offer. I went to Fairmont Spa (which is not an actual Spa) and everything went wrong! The room and wax pot were dirty. There wasn't any chair to leave my stuff or any towel given to me at all which was weird to me. The lady that would me the wax walked in, double checked what we're doing and started putting hot wax on my bikini. She started pulling the wax without saying anything, like take a deep breath or pull your skin. That annoyed me so much as it hurt like crazy and I've been doing Hollywood wax for a long time. Also, the wax was too hot for me, which I told her but I don't really think she did anything for that. At the end, I went to pay and they told me that it costed 25 pounds, when I showed them the confirmation from Treatwell with the price of 18 pounds they told me with an attitude that I have done the wrong booking, which is untrue as I booked Hollywood wax and that's what I got. Well, I'm never going back again but the "Spa" could make some improvements like cleanliness, communication with clients, and not posting fake offers online just to attract new customers as they won't keep them for long!
