This is a small to mid-size spa but they really make the most of the space. The steam room could hold maybe 4-6 people, jacuzzi 4 people. The jacuzzi was a bit on the cold side for my tastes, but the steam room was ace.
What we liked: great service, lovely staff, very clean and comfortable environment. The value for money was excellent, and it included some food from a nearby cafe which was lovely.
What could be better: I'm not sure why, might just be my skin but the facial really made my skin burn a bit. I also wasn't thrilled about blackhead removal, I know it's a thing, but I don't feel it really helps long-term. My sister had more spots the next day than before. So I probably wouldn't get a facial again, but I would totally return to get massage, and mani/pedi use the facilities since the price is really great for what you get.
Fairmount Spa is certainly value for money if you make use of their special offers. They tend to be slightly underprepared for your treatments. For example, they were in and out of the room fetching products during my facial. This doesn't aid in creating a relaxing environment I feel a spa should have. I had pre- paid for my appointment through Treatwell, however when I was ready to leave I had to wait while they tried to find my proof of payment which eventually they did.
