Avoid this place for gel nail removal. My nails were completely butchered and are still suffering weeks later. The girl was quite friendly so I felt reluctant to leave a bad review but after contacting Treatwell about it and not hearing back from them, I feel that I have to warn others. I understand that Treatwell is not at fault but I decided to get in touch because I wasn't sure what else to do. I could barely type for weeks after the treatment, I couldn't touch them and putting my hands anywhere near water was excruciating. An electric file was used and my right pinkie fingernail was shaved so close to the nail bed that it was completely flat, bright red and you could clearly see where the natural nail ended and turned into a ~3-4mm long indentation. There were still lumps of gel left on some of my nails after the treatment and she filed them in to a weird, pointy shape. I feel I should also point out that I noticed dried blood on some of the tools she was using, indicating that other people may have had similar issues.
Nail or Gel Polish Removal
Was my first ever wax. The staff were lovely & welcoming. I explain to the beauty therapist at the beginning that it was my first ever & was expecting a bit of a chat on that but I felt a little dismissed, however she was a very nice lady & did put me at ease once the wax had begun.
