I booked last-minute and my usual place wasn't free so I tried this one. Was apprehensive as it didn't have any reviews, but sits within a centre (Reve) that had good reviews so thought it would be okay. I was wrong. Therapist arrived late, so we didn't start until 6 past the hour. This gave me time to look at the building and it's actually on the geojnd floor of what appears to be social housing. When she arrived, the therapist asked if I had a lighter for her candles, but I don't smoke, so I didn't get any candles which didn't improve the ambience. Fluorescent lights were kept on, which ruined the atmosphere for me as I like the experience to be calm and relaxed from the start. Not the end of the world when I was on my stomach, so I let it be, but it was far too bright when I turned around and stared straight up into two big square fluorescent lights and a green emergency light. I asked her to switch them off at that point, which she did. I'd booked two massages of 90 mjnites total. The head massage was fine, but the relaxing massage was anything but. She used erratic short strokes which made it feel rushed and not at all de-stressting. There wasn't a pattern to the movements and she seemed to be making it up as she went along. There was also too much oil. I get a massage about once a month so know how I like it, but at this place the oil was splashing everywhere. When she did the backside of my legs some of the oil landed inside my palm, it was thrown around so much! There were plenty of towels left in the room so I dried myself off before getting dressed. When I left (having had to go to he Tesco round the corner to get cash as she didn't take card payments), I realised I'd only been inside an hour and despite having booked 90 minutes this was probably the only good thing about the whole affair! (She only charged me for 1 hour, so no issues on that front.) I will be sticking with my usual place, suffice to say!
