I had a manicure after my feet had been treated. I like my nails rounded but the nail technician didn't round them enough for me. I told her that I preferred them that way and she did try but she kept asking me if what she was doing was okay. If I'm honest it wasn't but I didn't want to sound like a right moaner. I believe she is still training that's why I was quite generous with my rating. She wasn't very good at painting my nails, not down far enough and quite a few gaps here and there. By the time I had got home I had a few gouges in a couple of my nails and by Saturday afternoon I had lost a chunk off one of my nails. She did tell me she loves doing acrylics so maybe she is very good at doing them but not a basic manicure on real nails. I would go back but probably only for my feet. Everyone was very friendly and lovely.
I received a very warm friendly welcome from Lisa and her team when I arrived. I was led straight into have my treatment. I was very satisfied with the treatment I had apart from I still had a few spots of hard skin left. But overall a good job. I was super impressed with the foot spa chair and I had a lovely massage as well as having my feet submerged scrubbed and soaked in various nice things. I then moved over to the chair to have my nails painted. This wasn't very comfortable. It was okay but I had to bend my leg up so my nails could be painted. Then when they needed to go into the drier I had to shuffle to the edge of the chair as I couldn't reach the drier on the floor. For someone like me with a bad back this was really uncomfortable.
