I booked a haircut for my mid length hair via Treatwell. I turned up for my haircut to be told that my hair was too long for the haircut I'd booked and I'd need to pay an extra £10, with no option of a refund. It was explained by the manager that there had been a problem with making it clear on the Treatwell website that this offer was for shoulder length hair.
Having reviewed the website it says short hair in very fine print, so it's not an error on the salons part, it's actually Treatwell who need to sort their website out, sneaky marketing on their part.
The wash and cut itself was great, my hair was cut by Kyri, who did an incredible job. He did exactly what I asked, left my hair feeling great. If I was rating him and the salon alone it would be 5*
Overall I'd recommend the salon but was disappointed with the mix up with the price
I booked a 1hr ladies hair cut at the discounted January rate. Arrived and was told that as my hair was below my shoulders it would cost me an extra £10 because it would take more time to do. When Kyri had finished my hair cut in just 50mins, I was still charged the extra £10. The 'Good to know: Short hair = above the shoulders' phrase attached to the offer is supposed to make this clear, but frankly fails, try 'This appointment is for short hair (above the shoulders)' maybe? Particularly as there is no option to book a 'long hair' appointment. The lady sitting next to me was also charged extra for another reason which seemed to be different to the one I was given, therefore I would warn people about booking treatments here, it may not be the price you expect!
the owner seemed very friendly, unfortunately their was an issue with how treatwell had advertised the price, as on arrival I was asked to pay more because the system hadn't made clear that the price was for short hair. I hope this is fixed, as otherwise it seems like a nice salon.
