Really good blow dry, salon were running a bit late but it was ok because I had time. Staff were nice.
Everyone at the salon was lovely, and very welcoming - they had to call me to reschedule, and made it easy to find a replacement time.
For the colouring- it was almost a disaster! I hated the first attempt at getting my dark red spot on - it turned out much lighter than I thought. But the stylist saw that I was unhappy, asked me about it, and when I said I didn't love it, they reassured me, and redid it. I was very happy the second time, and I'm loving the colour!
Did what I asked for... Brilliant service from the reception team. Charlee was very confident in what she was doing. She was very friendly, welcoming and understanding. She gave me good advice! I would definitely recommend this place.
I arrived only to be told that I had been double booked – despite calling that morning to re-confirm my appointment.
After re-questioning the lady on reception as to what time my appointment would actually begin she then allowed me to start my appointment as the other lady was running late …
The deep hair conditioning felt and smelt lovely however my hair showed no real sign of receiving a deep hair conditioning.
Having not had my hair cut for a long while I made specifically clear to my hairdresser that I only wanted a trim and wanted to keep the long length. There was no polite chit chat and she began cutting immediately. The amount she showed to me that she would remove no absolutely not the amount she cut off but not only that the lady only chose to cut it whilst wet. Going straight to styling after blow drying. No attempts were made to check over the hair once dryed which has now left me with random chunks of different length of hair rather than layers. When asked how I would like my hair styled I requested wavy which resulted in a frizzy mess of hair which looked absolutely appauling.
To end the experience I was asked to pay a £5 sur charge – despite the double booking fiasco.
All in all I would 100% not recommend this salon and in particular the hairdresser which I had – even with a Groupon this is absolutely not worth the money and as a result I have had to book into yet another hair dressers in order to repair the damage.
I am soo happy with my lowlights. The colourist really listened to what I wanted and advised me well. The experience was really comfortable and relaxing, just what I needed. Will definitely be returning!
