I want to preface by saying that Carrie was lovely and I liked most of the work she did. However I feel like I got her and the rest of the staff on a really bad day. I found the manager to be brash and a bit snappy. I felt like there was an uncomfortable vibe between her and the rest of the staff. Half way through my nails Carrie got a taxi home, and the manager took over. She didn’t ask me what I wanted and didn’t even look at the other hand for reference. I was left with every finger being a different length and shape. I brought this up to the woman and she redid two fingers because she said she didn’t have time to redo everything. She kept telling me how she was now running late etc, but I can only see this being because she didn’t ask or check with me what I wanted. I paid £50 for nails that didn’t match in length or shape and I was incredibly disappointed. The underneath of my nails had collected hardened gel and was incredibly uncomfortable. Some of the shellac gel was raised in parts making my nails look bulbous and silly. I didn’t bother complaining at the time because I didn’t want them to be redone at this studio. Again, I think I got Carrie on a really bad day and she had been there for way too long, and I believe her work was great until someone else took over.
I've never had a deep tissue massage before, and Carrie was brilliant with me. She made me feel at ease and checked that I was okay with the pressure she was using at different points during my treatment. Carrie was really friendly and easy to talk to and explained what to expect after the massage and how to deal with any soreness that may happen in the next couple of days after releasing the tension in my neck and shoulders. Thank you so much for looking after me today Carrie, I'll be back for another visit soon!
the salon helped me rearrange my bookings to meet some other appointments. the lady who looked after me was funny, personable, took care to make sure everything was just the way I wanted it and most importantly, did an excellent job!
