I had a really relaxing pedicure and so happy with my nails. Definitely worth getting the deluxe pedicure with foot scrub and everything.

really bad experience, which could easily have been avoided. I had booked a hot wax, only to be told on arrival that I had to have a strip wax instead as the hot wax they had was "not good quality". Firstly, there is a price difference between hot wax and strip wax (hot wax being more expensive, which is what I had paid for). Secondly, I had never had strip wax for a hollywood wax, and really did not want to. After telling the therapist that she should have informed me ahead of time, and that i would like to leave, she insisted that we "try" the hot wax. i agreed to this. initially, it was fine, but as we progressed i could see what the issue was and it ended up being a very painful experience and very uncomfortable, so I asked that we stop without finishing.
Secondly, which I find to be completely unacceptable, is that there is no lock on the door of the therapy room where the waxing is being performed! I discovered this while in the middle of the appointment, as another client walked in (mistaking the room for the toilet!). the therapist simply said that she had told the owners about this previously and nothing had been done about it.
Given this incident, and the lack of importance placed on customer privacy, customer experience and the quality of materials used; I would never return to this salon and would not recommend it at all
