I am overall satisfied by the result of full hair colour, hair cut and deluxe conditioinning. Nice staff. Facilities were also good although the boiler was not in order and they heated the water in kettle which was OK but a bit time consuming. I was with Andrew, he understood what I wanted and seemed like he likes his job. He gave me lots of tips. I'd go there again if I can get another deal through wahanda.
I had a lovely hair cut by a very nice friendly young man (Andrew?). I had a hair treatment/cut and a very good consultation about the style which I ended up being very pleased with as it was just what I wanted. I would go back again.
Overall the salon and treatment was great - friendly staff, heaps of magazines, selection of beverages frequently offered & a thorough discussion with the stylist as to what I wanted done.
Did have a couple of qualms though - purchased the wahanda voucher for a balayage with a basic technician - however when I called to make the appointment I was told that they didnt actually have any staff of that level and I would have to upgrade to the senior technician which would cost extra. As I had already purchased the voucher, I didnt really have a choice but to agree to this. I also got caught out with the 'blow dry' trap, which I find frequently occurs with wahanda offers - I HAD to have a blow dry (which I dont really need as I was going straight home after and my fine hair dries naturally in about 4 minutes) and the cheapest blow dry available was £20. So I ended up paying a signficant amount extra at my visit.
Advice - call the salon before you book to voucher to ensure you dont end up paying for hidden extras!
The owner/man on receptio nwas not very welcoming but do not be put off. All the other staff were very welcoming, fantastic head massage, tea and biscuits plentiful. Easy to access location.
Really friendly and great salon. Easy to find, nice minimalist decor. My stylist was really friendly and came up with lots of suggestions, which was great as this was the first time i was getting colour put in my hair. Really liked the end effect and whatsmore one of the better haircuts I have had in London. Would definitely go again.
